A training program allows an individual to strengthen those skills that each employee needs to improve. A development program brings all individuals to a higher level so they all have similar skills and knowledge. This helps reduce any weak links within the individuals who rely heavily on others to complete basic work tasks.

In an ever changing and fast paced world, training and development is an indispensable function.
Training and development is one of the lowest things on the priority list. We at Sri Vidhya Pedam believe there is, however, enormous value in organizing proper training and development sessions for the under privileged. Training allows the individualto acquire new skills, sharpen existing ones, perform better, increase pproductivity and become better leaders.

In line with our mission and focus areas we have devised Training Programs to address specific groups and their needs. Our Training Programs are aligned to our Focus areas.

Educating and Training Students
Education is both the means as well as the end to a better life: the means because it empowers an individual to earn his/her livelihood and the end because it increases one’s awareness on a range of issues – from healthcare to appropriate social behavior to understanding one’s rights – and in the process help him/her evolve as a better citizen.

Doubtless, education is the most powerful catalyst for social transformation. Our training programs will focus of children and graduates who have problems in establishing their credentials in the society.

At Sri Vidhya Pedam Welfare Foundation we have structured training programs which have been outlined in the below picture:

Training of Fresh Graduates:
Freshersmakeup the major chunk of annual hiring for most mid- and large-sized organizations as recruiting fresher’s offers the most cost-effective means of hiring entry-level talent, hiring them brings its own set of challenges for hiring managers. Sri Vidhya Pedam will focus on the challenges faced by Fresh graduates and organizations and work to the narrow the wide gap between the Employee skillsets and Employer’s Expectations.

Most recruiters and statistics prove that fresh graduates are not readily employable and there is a need to improve their skillsets before they become employable. At Sri Vidhya Pedam we will organize workshop with the fresh graduates and understand their limitations and work on strengthening their weak links such as creating an effective and attractive CV, improving their soft skills, educating on the workplace etiquette, working on the attitude issues, etc.
It goes without saying that fresher from the metropolitan cities have access to a qualitative educational facilities, more opportunities, and exposure to better extra-curricular facilities unlike the rural students. At Sri Vidhya Pedam we will work with the rural students so that they can improve their skillsets and employability which in turn will help us to narrow the Urban-Rural divide which means the more opportunities for the rural students and an Equal Employment Opportunity for all graduates across different strata.
